THE HOLDING COMPANY BEHIND GLOBAL INNOVATION
Building companies. Connecting markets. Creating impact.
Tekhey is a holding company. We build, own and operate businesses across technology, platforms and investment, with people on the ground in four regions.
There is a meaningful difference between owning a company and building one. The first is a position on a cap table. The second is a commitment measured in years, and it is the one Tekhey is organised around.
Capital is the easiest part of any partnership to source. What is scarce is the operating attention that turns an early team into a durable business: the second hire in a new market, the pricing model that finally holds, the platform decision that removes a decade of friction. We take positions where we can contribute that attention, which naturally limits how many companies we hold at once. We consider the limit a feature.
Portfolios diversify risk. Operating groups compound capability. Every market a Tekhey company enters teaches the group something transferable about regulation, distribution and local hiring, and the next company pays a lower price for that lesson. That accumulated knowledge is the real asset. The equity is simply how we hold it.
Four pillars, one operating standard.
We take long-term ownership positions in businesses we help operate. Fewer commitments, deeper involvement, and a horizon measured in years rather than quarters.
Engineering built to last. We favour durable systems over fashionable ones, because we expect to still be running them a decade from now.
We invest in the layers customers never see directly. Shared infrastructure means every company in the group starts further along than it could alone.
Capital with operating attention attached. We look for honest unit economics, operating clarity, and founders building on a long clock.
Local judgement, held together by shared standards.
Regulatory depth and cross-border compliance expertise.
Manufacturing, platform scale and mobile-first markets.
Fast-moving payments innovation and infrastructure building.
Capital markets access and enterprise distribution.
If you are building something with a long horizon, we would like to hear about it.
